I’m here to share a few closet staples when it comes to dressing for the holidays. It seems like these key pieces never go out of style. You can wear them for years to come if you don’t mind re-wearing “old” stuff. Oh and these also come in handy every year if you’re a cheap hoarder like me. 🙂
S E Q U I N S
Need I say more? There seems to be an overwhelming amount of beautiful sequin bodycon dresses, skirts and jumpsuits on the market right now. I want them all! Since sequins are fun, I opted for a colorful skirt that would pair well with a simple turtleneck or sweater.
ALL THINGS RED
I don’t know why I don’t wear red more often during the year. I only seem to pump out red outfits during the holidays. It’s an iconic, eye catching color that’s well respected in the world of color. Monochrome is the way to go when wearing red! I actually bought this outfit while I was pregnant last year not knowing if I’d even fit into it, but I’m glad I bought it!
Again, I don’t know why I don’t wear metallics more often throughout the year. I’ve had this skirt for two years and I plan on styling it again for the holidays next year. I love the muted gold and the pleats. It adds a lovely texture and the skirt has a smooth, flowy movement too.
