If there’s one piece of makeup I can’t live without, it’s lipstick. You could literally leave the house with a bare face and lipstick and look done up. When Artdeco reached out to me to try some of their products, I instantly went to the lip section to see what they had to offer and found that they had TONS of lipsticks, gloss and liners to choose from.
Before I get into my review, I want to tell you more about Artdeco. Artdeco is a German cosmetics brand that was established in 1985. Their products are available in 78 countries and they ship to all 50 states in the US! Yay for us, right? They strive to help women express their individual style through makeup. The prices are very reasonable, the quality is top notch and they truly have a wide selection of colors and items to choose from!
My lip color is from Artdeco’s Long Wear Lip Color collection in 10 Rich Red Heart. It was perfect for my Valentine’s Day shoot. The lipstick is smooth, bold in color and truly long lasting. I don’t like going reapplying makeup over and over again so the Long Wear Lip Color was a no brainer. I also tried the Perfect Color Lipstick because they had SO MANY colors to choose from. The Perfect Color Lipstick (24 Turkish Rose) collection is creamy, moisturizing and silky. The Hydra Lip Booster (8 Translucent pink lolly) has a boosting quality to smooth out the wrinkles and lines on your lips. I use it over my lipstick to add some gloss. And finally I tried The Most Wanted EyeShadow Palette (Nude 24) and really don’t need any other eyeshadow because this palette has every shade you of nude you need! You can use this eyeshadow for a day look or create that sultry smokey eye for a more done up going-out look.
In addition to the makeup, Artdeco sent me a few (and much needed) moisturizers for the face, hands and body from their sister company Seba Med. They don’t add any overpowering fragrances and it applies smoothly and evenly over my skin. My hands actually crack open every winter so the Hand and Nail Balm has helped tremendously. I use the Moisturizing Face Cream at night and the Moisturizing Body Lotion on my legs and arms and before my shoots. This winter has been really cold and dry here in LA, so I’m glad I have a great collection of moisturizers to get me through these harsh months.
I want to thank Artdeco for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
