Suits and Stripes

This two piece linen co-ord suit from Make Me Chic makes me look like I’m going to the Kentucky Derby! I think it’s a combination of the colors, stripes and hat. Regardless of where I’m going, I’m in love with this light weight two-piece suit. Due to the Indian Summer here in LA, I can wear this almost all year round!

I love how the shorts are high waisted! It also comes with a belt to create a paperbag waist. Do you like how I tied the bow almost perfectly? I was really proud of myself. The hat played a key role when creating this outfit. I just felt that the outfit was missing something. As I was rummaging through my closet, I saw the hats piled neatly in the top corner and immediately started trying them on. I finally settled on this tan one with the bow detail.

Co-Ords make you look chic, sleek and put together. I’m a huge fan of them! It also makes your life easier because you don’t have to sift through your closet to find what to wear! I highly suggest investing in a co-ord for those days when you don’t want to turn your closet upside down and inside out.

I want to thank Make Me Chic for sponsoring this post! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
