Today is the end of Menswear Inspired week and I officially want to be a boy. Ok, ok jk, but I do like dressing like them. They’re clothes always seem to be more simple, sleek, clean and sharp.
I really love when men tailor their suits. It really says a lot about them. It tells me they want to look polished, pay attention to detail, and care about making investments in their future. When I found that these pants were 100% tailor made for me, I was sold. I didn’t care how pricey they were. I had to have them!! Luckily, they were’t that expensive (even though they’re from Theory). I really love the high waist (go figure) and split seam detail at the bottom. They make your legs look super looooong too!
I wore a longline blazer instead of a traditional one to mix things up a bit. I didn’t want this to look like a formal, office wear suit. I wanted to add some edge and what better way is there to add some edge other than a longline blazer and a scalloped crop top, right?
Oh, and speaking of edge, you can’t forget the metallic oxfords.#theultimateaccessory Although I kept the outfit monochromatic, I wanted the kicks to have some kick.
How would you style a menswear inspired suit?
