Fret Not Fringe

As the hubs and I were driving around looking for places to shoot, we stumbled across this spooky backdrop covered with spiderwebs and a giant red spider guarding its territory. We thought it would be fun to incorporate some Halloween into the shoot since it’s just a few weeks away!

We’re talking all things OTK this week. These boots were definitely made for dancing because fringe = Tina Turner and Tina Turner = dancing! These fringe OTK boots don’t go super high like most OTK boots, but they do cover the knees. They fit well over my small caves and they don’t fall down. I hate when you have to constantly hike up your boots! #annoying You usually don’t see me in flats, (unless they’re sneaks) but I made an exception to that rule today because these boots are too fun!

I paired these boots with a few of my favorite fall staples. A $2 mini skirt, plaid top, leather jacket and a choker. You’ll definitely be seeing these staples on major repeat for the next few months. Since the boots are the star of this post, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit dark and muted.

I know fringe is one of those love it or hate it trends, but you seriously need to try fringing up your outfits because it’s fringetastically fun!

  1. So fun you added a little bit of Halloween in your pictures <3 Luckily it isn't such a big thing here in the Netherlands, because I don't like the horror clowns, spiders and bloody zombies at all! #BRRR XO Charissa
