Embolden Your Greens

Today is the last day of Bold Color Week and I’m here to share a cute OTS sweater, (courtesy of Make Me Chic) along with my favorite color… GREEN! You’ve heard your parents say “Eat your greens!”, now I’m going to tell you to embolden your greens!_mg_8302

I feel like green is an underrated color. You only really see it emerge from the bushes around the holidays. I do agree that it’s kind of a difficult color to pair, but when done correctly, this color can look amazing on you!

I paired these high waisted joggers with a light gray top to contrast the bold green hue. You can totally dress these joggers up or down. I chose to dress them up with some silver strappy heels and a cross over OTS sweater. Being a lover of all things that start with OT, I fell in love with this unique sweater. When I first took this sweater out of the package, I thought the vendor sent me the wrong item because the sweater looked like a scarf! It was a long rectangular piece of fabric with arm holes. But once I figured out how to wear it, I fell in love!

And that’s a wrap! I’m walking away because I’m done for the week. I want to thank Make Me Chic for this beautiful OTS sweater that I will be wearing over and over again!

    1. Start out by draping the sweater over your back like a shawl. Then put the opposite arm in the holes. So start with you left arm and put it in the right sleeve, then make an X with the sweater in front of your body and put your right arm in the other sleeve. Hope this helps!

  1. Oeh! Love bold color week <3 You look so elegant in this look honey. Green indeed is a color that suits a lot of people. Just a matter of finding the right shade and you'll look fab. XO Charissa

  2. Girl, I am loving this entire look! I tell you all the time that high waisted anything and everything is all you. This sweater is amazing. It’s so chic and soft. And different. Oh and I see that choker action going on too. 😉
