Happy Wednesday!

I’m glad to be back from my trip up to Portland. Portland is my home, but LA is my hood yo. Anyway…Traveling is exhausting. I think I’m getting old, lol. I have an audition later today so hopefully I’ll be in good condition for that.

Today’s look is one of my favorite looks! I know I say that all the time about a lot of looks, but this one is special. We shot under a bridge downtown next to the Walt Disney Concert Hall. It was really dark, smelly, dingy and shady, but sometimes those places are the best places to shoot. I was initially against shooting here, but the boy convinced me it was a good place to shoot and since he has a better eye for composition, I reluctantly agreed. It turned out to be an awesome thing.

This look is super simple! All of these items were in my closet and they were super cheap too. I’m sure you can find similar versions of them in your closet as well. I took my destroyed jean skirt that I bought when I used to work at Abercrombie (back in the day), knotted a white t-shirt, added some super white (brand new) kicks and finally tied a bandana around my neck. I’ve been loving all the different ways people are wearing these bandanas. I’m gonna have to explore more ways to incorporate them into my outfits! Long story short, it’s the simple details that takes your outfit from ordinary to extra-ordinary.

PS- I was really paranoid that I would scuff my whitey white shoes so if you look close enough to one of the photos, I’m not letting the top of that shoe touch the ground!

Skirt and top: Abercrombie and Fitch

Shoes: Adidas

Bandana: Somewhere in my closet (super old), similar here
