Happy Friday from PDX!

Happy Friday from Hipsterville, aka Portland, OR my hometown!

Hello everyone, I hope y’all had a great week. I’m doing some traveling, shooting and celebrating so I’ll just make this post short and sweet. We purchased a brand new lens that just hit the market so we’re about to take it out for a spin.

I’ve been wanting to explain why most of my outfit links are to “similar here” instead of the actual outfits. It’s because I have a lot of clothes. I love clothes and have a lot of it. There’s no other explanation than that. Way before I even started this blog, I already had a ton of clothes partially because I’m a hoarder and partially because I love creating weird, beautiful, elegant, weird outfits. I also have a lot of gowns such as this one below because I’m an opera singer and I perform a lot in gowns. My clothes are very affordable and I buy almost everything (even my designer shoes!) on sale. For instance, this Jessica McClintock gown was $40 or $60. Regardless of the exact price, a gown under $100? That’s a steal in my book. I think the trick is to be vigilant and buy when the deal is good because you can always return it later. Have a great weekend and see you Monday!

  1. I completely get it, girl. I buy 99% of my clothes and shoes on sale. I rarely ever pay full price for stuff. A gown as nice as this one for under $100? Total steal. Good for you. It looks great. Enjoy travelling and testing out your new camera! Can’t wait to see the fab pics!
