Triple Blocked

Happy almost weekend everyone!

Ok, I kinda have a confession/some explaining to do. These days, none of my clothes seem to fit properly because I’ve lost 15 pounds throughout the past year. It was with a lot healthy lifestyle changes, consistent exercise and sacrifice, of course. I’m not trying to brag, but I worked hard to get here. I’m actually very proud of my weight loss, but there is a dilemma because my clothes no longer fit properly and I’m all about the fit if you know me!

This outfit is a great example of that. These skinny jeans are too loose at the bottom and I’m not sure if you can tell, but the waist is too big now. I knot most of my shirts because they’re too big as well. This blazer has now turned into an oversized blazer. Why am I telling you this? Two reasons. You can always fake it til you make it. And you don’t have to throw out all your clothes that don’t fit you properly. How many of you would have known all this if I hadn’t told you? You might have thought the pants looked weird or a little baggie… And, why is she knotting her top? This blog isn’t about fronting “beautiful” outfits and photos. I wanted to share this because some of you might be going through similar things and it’s ok to fake it til you make it and be a hoarder because you can’t part with your old clothes.

  1. Congrats on your weight loss! You look great! I’m one of those who would have never known that your clothes no longer fit if you didn’t tell me. I have certain pieces that I intentionally buy a bit big because of the way I envision styling them. Style is about doing you and you do that very well. Fab looks!
