Boy am I glad that it’s Friday. What a week… I’m glad that it’s practically the weekend.
I put this outfit together based on these new shoes that I purchased. Although they’re super cute and an attention grabber, I wish they were of better quality and made of real leather because as soon as I took them out of the box… OMG Prop 65. The smell of plastic and chemical, oh my… I thought I was dying. This is the reason why I pay more and invest in good quality shoes. You can buy cheaper clothing anywhere since it’s mostly made in China, but quality shoes is something I cannot compromise. You really do get what you pay for.
This is a pretty minimalistic outfit. I like colors, gowns, flashy outfits, statement outfits too, but today I decided to go be a minimalist. I paired a gray turtleneck with a long A-line leather skirt. The turtleneck is pretty thin so I paired it with a heavier leather skirt to balance the outfit since it’s not super hot/cold here in LA. This skirt is so beautiful and keeps its shape very well. The shoes are the center of attention here. They make the outfit pop. I love the red block heel and zipper detail!
