Uptown Girl

Hello Monday, hello everyone! Happy Leap Year! Wow, so cool that I get to say that.

Welcome back to PnB! I hope your weekend was delightful and relaxing. I feel like the weekend is for you to recharge and get away from the busyness of life. Or if you’re me, go on a million shoots to prepare for the next week! Jk, I took a precious nap, tried a new Thai place, ran, checked out the fashion district and checked off a lot on my to do list. I was very grateful for my two days off!

Today’s look is one of sophistication, simplicity and minimalism. I chose muted colors (whitish gray, navy and silver) to complement each other. Since I love crop tops so much, I paired a slightly longer crop top with high waisted trousers and silver heels. I feel like crop tops work for people with shorter torsos and longer legs because it clearly defines the 1/3 (top) 2/3 (bottom) ratio that ultimately elongates your figure. It’s important to know your body and what looks/fits well. I would love to wear more strapless/plunge neck dresses or tops, but I know I don’t have the boobs for that so it ultimately won’t look good on me. However my forte is my upper abs, arms and legs so I try to find outfits that show off those features. If there is one thing you take away from this post, it’s to find your what makes you feel sexy and confident and show off those features whether it be your shoulders, arms, boobs, curves, butt, legs, back, etc.

You look fab! I am loving how you’re showing off your long legs. I am with you on the strapless and low cut tops – I don’t have the boobs for it either. It’s all about knowing your “situation.” Haha!
